The Animal Print

Animal print is one of the hottest trends of fall/winter fashion. You can spot it everywhere from runways to your local streets. But its important to get it right because you don’t want to be a fashion faux-pas.

Tips to keep in mind

For a casual day out

If you want to add that extra funk to your outfit, animal print is the best way to do it this season. Wear a jumpsuit or a dress and add some block coloured vests or scarves, to tone down the effect.

If you are the kinds who don’t want to wear apparels with the print you could opt for accessories like bags, stoles, rings, bangles or even footwear. These prints go well with the fall colours like deep purples, browns ,black, deep reds, nudes, etc. Keep your outfit very casual and let the accessory be the main attention.

For a night out

This is the time when you can go an extra mile with your experimentation. Opt for high waisted skirts or shift dresses or jackets in animal prints. Stick to dark colours or nudes to compliment your ‘featured item’. But remember the rest of your outfit has to be very simple so that you don’t end up looking like a mess. You never want to turn heads for the wrong reason. Match your footwear to your outfit and voila, we have a superstar.
